Account credits provide a flexible way to pay for services. Credits are stored in your account balance and automatically applied to new invoices.
What Are Account Credits?
Account credits are funds stored in your client area that can be used to pay for any invoice. Credits are applied automatically when a new invoice is generated, reducing or eliminating the amount you need to pay out of pocket.
How to Add Credit
1. Log in to your client area.
2. Navigate to "Billing" then "Add Funds."
3. Enter the amount you wish to add.
4. Select your payment method (credit card, PayPal, etc.).
5. Complete the payment.
The credit will be added to your account immediately and displayed as your current balance.
How Credits Are Applied
When a new invoice is generated:
1. The system checks your available credit balance.
2. If you have sufficient credit, the invoice is paid automatically.
3. If your credit covers only part of the invoice, the remaining amount is due via your usual payment method.
4. You receive a notification that the invoice has been paid (or partially paid).
Sources of Account Credit
- Manual Deposits: Adding funds through the client area.
- Refunds: When a refund is issued as account credit rather than to your original payment method.
- Affiliate Earnings: Commissions from the affiliate program can be credited to your account.
- Promotional Credits: Occasionally offered as part of promotions or goodwill gestures.
Viewing Your Credit History
To see your credit balance and transaction history:
1. Go to "Billing" in your client area.
2. Click on "Credit Balance" or "Transaction History."
3. View a log of all credits added and applied.
Important Notes
- Account credits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Credits cannot be withdrawn as cash (except for affiliate earnings where applicable).
- Credits do not expire as long as your account remains active.
- If you close your account, any remaining credit balance is forfeited.
Using credits is an excellent way to simplify billing, especially if you manage multiple services.
